Dan and I made it to our 10 year anniversary. Although we both wanted to do a big getaway it just wasn't feasible with the timing. There were too many end of school year activities, work, and no one to watch our kids while we whisked away on an excursion. We made do and were able to spend the entire day together with a fairly planned agenda. We enjoyed our busy day.
We started at day with a nice sit down breakfast and then headed to the shooting range with our hand guns. We shot off a few rounds each :)
Next stop was massages.
Then an impromptu stop at Oskar Blues for some beer tasting. Dan was a sport about it even though he really enjoys his bud light. He did not like that dark beer on the end.
Next stop: Isle of Capri in BlackHawk / Central City. Time to do some gambling. We enjoyed our stay and received great comps for signing up for the players card. We had a free supper and free breakfast in the morning. We both even tried new table games that night with some success. Although we didn't come home jackpot winners we had a good time.
