My Boys

Here are pictures of my boys - Shelby (all black) and Zipper. We are getting them ready for a week in the house by themselves, we are leaving for Minnesota on Friday after work for a long drive and are planning on to go to Dan's parents Cabin and then head to my families Lake Cabin for the 4th of July and then the farm for the last couple of days. We did break down and by a portable DVD player so Katelynn (and us) can hopefully make the drive go a little quicker!

Weekend Fun

This Saturday I got my hair cut and colored, finally, it has been awhile and I was starting to get into that faze of not doing my hair at all, shower, brush it and put it in a bun on the back of my head - what the heck - nobody cares if I do my hair anyway, right? So on Saturday I received the star treatment at the Aveda Salon in Loveland, I had a couple of glasses of Shiraz wine, a free paraffin wax for my hands, a foot soak while my color was setting and now I am a new woman or at least my hair may look a little better. So 5 days and counting and Katelynn and I will be on an airplane to the Twin Cities - if anyone has any advice on flying with an almost 2 year old alone please don't hesitate to call me before Friday morning. I am hoping that she will take a nap during the flight and it will be smooth sailing - pray for me.
